Live Streaming of a Total Lunar Eclipse

Total Lunar EclipseThe Fort Worth Museum of Science and History is bringing together local Space Science advocates and the Fort Worth Astronomical Society to help the public understand more about the moon. On Wednesday, October 8th, from 3:30am CST to 7:30am CST, audiences will have a chance to observe the eclipse at the museum.

This will be a unique chance to see the Moon covered by the Earth’s shadow.

The event is free and will take place at the Museum.  Doughnuts and coffee will be available on a first come first serve basis.


Fun Fact
The rolling loop projector--the heart of the IMAX film system--was invented in the 1960's by Ron Jones, a machinist and camera builder from Brisbane, Australia.
